Shot these last week. I like them, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.

.
This one is without any PS 100% natural light

.

.
Natural light with contrast adjustment and fill added in PS

Thank you. I did this one too where I took out the part of the building frame from behind her head. Not sure if it's better or not?

this one is definitely better - no distracting frame through her head

beautiful and sexy model!

i thinkg it's a misnomer to say you added fill in PS. you can certainly change the levels to mimic some fill but that doesn't change the lighting ratio in the image. (which actual fill would've done) personally, i think the image needed some reflective fill. it would still have qualified as a 100% natural light shot had you done so. instead of a contrast adjust, you also might try playing around with the shadow/detail tool. i think you'll find you'll get some decent results doing so.

I am not a big fan of either image. There is no life or catchlights in her eyes, so they look cold and dark.

The backlighting is much too intense for my tastes, as the fine strands of hair are just burning out badly.

Tell me what you were attempting here? Glamour image? Editorial image? Something abstract and edgy?

Thanks for your comments Jimmy

The version of PS Elements that I used with this photo has a tool called Fill Flash and I used that to bump it up a bit. It's probably not the same thing as adding fill during the shoot.

This was more of an experiment with available lighting. I liked the way the light was coming through the wall and wanted to see how she would look in front of it
