Hello thanks for all the helpful advice on classes/manuals, I found a place for both!!

Little back story- I recieved my Minolta SRT102 this week and have really no expierence with a manual camera.

I am wondering if anyone could provide some advice on cleaning my camera and lenses?
Thanks again for helping out a beginner!!

The best tools for cleaning an old manual camera are Q-tips, a soft camel hair paint brush (1/2 or 3/4 inch) and a soft tooth brush. You can use rubbing alcohol on most surfaces, but of course lens cleaning fluid on the lenses. A pypewriter eraser will clean the battery contacts. Canned air just moves the dirt around and often doesn't remove it. By the way, I still have a SRT-202 and a 101 in a drawer in my storeroom next to a few X570 cameras. All still work, I guess. I pulled the batteries when I put them up so they wouldn't corrode. Add to that my four Canon A2 and Mamiya RB-67 pro S cameras, and I have a lot of film cameras stored away in case they ever get any value as collectables. I haven't shot film for any reason in close to three years. Rick from Arkansas "Arkie"
