Is the new port system broke/down?
Trying to upload images to the new port and having problems, I tried to do as RFS showed just copy/paste and that doesnt seem to work. Tried to just start over and upload the image from my computer. Keep getting error saying it doesnt exist, too big or wrong MIME type ( not sure what the last one is) i did include title and comment of at least 10 characters, still not working. Anyone else have this problem or know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Dean

No, its working okay. If you get that message, then the file is either not the right file type or it is too large. You'll need to resize it to a smaller size. Often this means just using Photoshop's Save to Web feature which will shrink the file size. I find that most of the time that is the problem. I've gotten the same error message and it truly was on a filesize that was too large.

I see you have already uploaded 14 photos to the new Portfolio, so I guess its working okay for you now or was earlier.

If you keep having trouble with a particular file or files (drop me a link to them and I'll take a look).

Cheers,
rfs

Just checked a few of your shots in the old portfolio and they are very large file sizes for the original. Typically a good size is 600 pixels high for portrait and 700 pixels wide for landscape. This will generally be a file size of 60k to 100k. If it is much larger than that, then you are not saving properly. I usually use Save for Web set to a quality of 65 and that gives very good results.
Cheers,
rfs

Thanks RFS, figured it out, as you saw, did get them to upload. You were right, the ones I kept getting the error on were the larger size. I do use the save for web, and usually set it 600 on the long side, but might not on some of the older images. Will go back and do some research. Appreciate the help.
