Give 'em hell, Jimmy!
I won't rant and rave--but I did spend nearly nine years of my life in the service fighting in two wars for things like freedom, democracy, the ability to express one's self, thoughts, and creativity via any medium desired. I believe we are all with sin. Should we even begin to slightly judge those around us without taking an inner-inventory first--we are truly heading in the wrong direction.
To fire or force a teacher to resign over art and or something she does in her free time outside of her paid schedule is ridiculous. Just ridiculous. I do agree with another post here--if you don't want your children to attend the museum--don't let them attend.
There are people in North Korea and if they so much as print, discuss, or convey anything in terms of degredation of the government--they are killed. Our nation is built on freedom--and it should stay that way. If the teachers did not break any laws established by our governing bodies, then they should be allowed to do as they did without retribution.
Jimmy, if you sign a petition and send it--put my name on it!!!!
