hey, just signed up to see if i could get some help here. not sure if this is the right forum or not, but here it is anyways:

my girlfriend is in a next top model type competition, and the final challenge is this coming friday. they're doing a 40's type theme, and i was wondering if anyone had any info or good links to the types of poses and styles they used back then. runway type stuff would be especially helpfull. i've googled it every way i could think of and all i usually get is a bunch of car's and whatnot. i wanted to find her a bunch of stuff to help her get an idea of what it was like back then. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Of course, this is just off the top of my head. There are lots more.

Whenever I'm looking for a little inspiration I go to http://www.silverscreensirens.com/ .

I really like retro styled images, so I've always found that site to be helpful.

that first image is so retro it's scarey. you sure that ain't your grandma or great aunt? the second one is killer too but too bad your hand is kinda blown out. love the highlight on the left side of your face.
