It is pretty easy to do either type of site since they can usually be automated with any of a number of templates and products like BreezeBrowser or Photoshop, etc. Since he'll make about $100 off of any site he does, its a nice little business. Naturally, you could do your own. For about $30 per year you can get good quality web hosting including all the trimmings and enough space to host thousands of photos and large bandwidth. Then register the domain name at GoDaddy for $8.95 and in a few hours you can have your own website.

I didn't bother to put up any text, but this would be an example of the one photo on the front page along with appropriate text. If you click on any of the images in the collage it zooms to the image where you can then browse the rest.
