I had a shoot with model A. today, but model A. had to reschedule because her friend's mom was sick, and her gold fish had scale rot and had to be steam cleaned, so therefore she was not in a good place emotionally to go through with the shoot.

However...

Model B. (Kelsey) Was available on very short notice, less than 3 hours between our first phone conversation and the shoot time. This was without a doubt my best experience so far as a photographer. This girl brought the best energy and enthusiasm to the shoot. She's a natural in front of the camera, and just a lot of fun to work with. Those photographers in Michigan would do well to try and book her before she heads out in a few weeks. She's listed on MM

Enough talking here's the photos. Comments and Crits appreciated.

o.K., now I'm in love. Number 4 shows a lot of personality. I bet she is a kick to shoot.

There is a lot of that goldfish scale rot going around, it isn't a regional thing so we would all best be aware of it.

Lovely model , I agree # 4 is great because of her attitude. I love working with someone who can smile and laugh naturally.

Love that set, She has a very direct gaze in number 3, and I have to agree, that number 4 just 'sells' FUN!

Is Kelsey closer to you than me? Sometimes it sucks that Michigan is so big...

All very nice, my only real thought would be to watch how the hands are cropped in #1 & #3.

Good job!

You're still underexposed by a stop at least. The background looks fine, but the model is too dark.

Good job!
is it possible that the monitor on my camera is too bright? maybe I need to wash my eyes? These are straight out of the camera, and I was hoping to be able to skip the levels adjustments this time, but when you're right you're right. oh well, back to the digital dark room.

Thanks for your comments, honest criticism is the only way to get better.
