Very nice and sharp. #2 and #3 look like a ring light, perhaps? What kind? There's been a long recent thread on the Alien Bee new ring light, so that seems to be a hot topic right now.
Cheers,
rfs

"The usual stuff......"

But it's always so strikingly beautiful and so instructional to study.

Thanks for sharing.

Your brought all of their eyes out in just a piercing way almost--as if they are actually making eye contact with the viewer. I like them a lot and it's great work. Looking forward to more of your stuff, JT.

Brings to mind the whole 'Clapton is God' concept.

Where's my can of Krylon. There's a new 'God' to be named.

Kudos JT. I'm forever in awe of your headshots.

Just in shade-available light with reflector underneath.

Hey, I recognize those catchlights in #1! Thanks for sharing that with me. I hate to say it, but that's how I shoot every single yearbook portrait! It's just so easy. I put my lights here, turn 'em on X power, have the subject sit here, and use the blue background. I make it real flat and the kids love it! It minimizes their flaws and they think they look beautiful!
