Took a break from the strobes long enough to get some images
of Jessie with natural light coming in from the windows at the
front door. Shot with the 50mm f/1.8 Canon lens.

Very nice, Jim. That f/1.8 is a fun little lens

Hmmm, I love that she looks like a red head (is she?) but it also looks like she's either going to punch you or pass out, I'm not sure which...

I love shooting natural light wide open...Not gonna be able to do too much of that very soon...stupid winter...

Jim,
Nice shot. Have you considered cropping a little tighter on the left to take out the window frame? The two screw holes in the moulding distract me. Just a thought.

Thanks Allen. I agree, it is a fun little lens to work with at times.

She is in fact a blonde with a slight redish tint to her hair or "dirty blonde"
as someone at the shoot commented on. She also told me about her
facial expression and that is was not intended on her part.

I did think about doing as you suggested with a tighter crop, but ended
up leaving it the way it was shot for now. Might try that later to see
what it looks like.
