Very nice work. The two monochrome images are solid, but my favorite is the selectively colored image.

I have to agree with Professor iford. It looks like you also added some grain to the monochrome part of the image. Itís the first time Iíve noticed anyone doing that. I really like it.

Yes, I selectively added grain and desaturated the background for effect on a vision I had. I wasn't sure at first but I think the look was what I was after.

besides the effects you noted, i'm thinking for image 3 you also mimicked selenium processing? yes? great shots, btw.

If I mimicked it I did it on accident. Sometimes I just go with a flow of how I want my rgb black and whites to be. I was doing a lot of sepia toned for awhile and I got tired of that so when I was shooting this scene I felt like doing a tin type feel to it so I just adjusted some levels and went with it. The dress was charcoal so that gave me the idea to tone some things this way too. Thanks for the compliments. I could have left the series all true black and white and rich color and been satisfied but I always seem to vision something.
