Here is a shot of Kennedy making sure the water is really there. You never can tell on these infinity pools. Unlike the rest of the group, I was shooting this shot from about 50 feet away, flat on my back on the concrete (outside the pool) with the camera on my chest. Quite a balancing act, if I don't say so my self. But she certainly has interesting blue eyes to complement the blue of the pool. Hope you enjoy.

Cheers,
rfs

Roger, I really like this shot. I know that logistically it is little difficult to execute becuase you have to have the model in just a right place and position then you have to get to the ground level to bring about this effect. I took some shots of Rolando doing the same thing you did except that he was in the pool down to his nostrils with his Lsica just an inch above the water level. I'm just curious, it looks like you took the image with the use of the beautydish, please confirm. I really like the versetality of beautidish so much that I'm going to buy one for myself. Thank you so much for sharing, each time we do this for each other our learning curve improves.
Ciao my friend!!!

Very nicely done Roger, and you didn't have to submirge yourself like the rest of us.
Great balance of sky and model.

This I much prefer to the previous, black bounded one. The sky and water (and your lighting) are quite beautiful, as is the model. A rather different, and interesting, approach to the pool, IMO.

Nice work. Very nice indeed.

Thanks for sharing.

Here is what the light looked like and a photo of the setup:

You can see where the photographer would normally shoot, in the foreground, and you can see Rolando making sure that the lights are working, etc.
Cheers,
rfs

This may be a stupid question, but I never claimed to be bright.

Why did you blur the model in the "setup" shot?

Because nudes are not supposed to be posted on the Main Community forum, and the model in the lighting setup shot was nude. So a little blur made the shot legal for its primary purpose of showing the lighting.

Cheers,

I was using my special mosquitoe filter to keep them from showing up! I didn't want to scare anyone by letting them be visible in the photo. Thanks for the comments.
