I just visited the forum and found, in every thread, the IP address of the users are published right below their user information on the left side. Is this normal?

We once had some people who tended to post an image, then, as another persona, praise themselves lavishly. We've also had individuals post vicious criticisms of people, in the guise of being anonymous.
Posting IPs makes that kind of thing a tad more obvious.
