Megan did some damage to my cd supply. Had to burn several for her. She rocked.

I love the look, lighting, and pose of #2, Stu...

but the blown highlights down the center of her nose, left cheek, and chest ruin what could be an incredible photograph.

Absolutely Outstanding work. I really like the hot-light look of #2. (Breaking the rules sometimes has its place.) I don't think it would have the same impact without the hot effect. This is some of the best that I've seen from you Stu.

(The sharp/deep vertical shadow on her left arm looks a bit strange though.)

Best regards,
John

I think image 2 is great...even with the blown hightlights. In fact, as the previous poster stated, the blown hightlights help to make this image what it is.
Sometimes people get way too nit-picky......

Number 2 hits it. It's in your face and you know I love that!

Sunlight at the right time.
this shot was taken about 730pm, around the "golden hour" In Atlanta, the golden hour is somewhat extended because the of air pollution.
however I do use photoshop and I added some saturation to the color that is there to begin with.

I dig 'em both Stu, but especially the second one! Whether the highlights are "blown" or not, it adds to the feeling of harsh, hot sun, which adds to the image to me. Nice.
