I've heard some of those critiques before. Maybe I'm a Master and just don't know it!

It is.

And largely because it's so true.

Except as one of the after post commentaries so succinctly put it: “What worries me is that I agree with all your comments and suggestions on how to improve those images and how to make those folks become better at their trade.”
But then what do I know. . . I think Kate Moss is ugly.

the model's pose doesn't work for me. she's cute and fit but her pose causes "rolls" which are accentuated by the bathing suit. also, cropping her at her right knee and right wrist doesn't work. and what's with that cheesy BG? what is that? some kind of mexican blanket you bought in tijuana? some PS on her face would help, maybe some guassian blur. you say you're going to make a poster from this image? you really think anyone would want to hang this on their wall?

This is one of the reasons that I am not fond of the PSA camera clubs. Too much emphasis on rules and not enough on appreciation. This does not mean that there aren't good camera club photographers.

That was good for a chuckle but not much more. The grammar, syntax errors, and text message "speak" were the highlights. It would've been a lot funnier if the photos being commented on were true "master" pieces that broke traditional rules rather than the pedestrian crap most of those were.
