#1 or #2, both or neither, but explain why.

Technically as one would predict, these are both well done and particuarly well lit. However, I love the expression in the first one - the sense of sort of sexy danger in her face is very cool. The pose is very intense as are her eyes. Even the faux sunrise lighting effect on the background is nice.
In the second one the focus for me shifts to her cleavage which while lovely, is not in as interesting a pose. Here epxression is also not as alluring (almsot seems smirking) and she seems hunched over.

I don't like either one, because I'm not into that sort of look. However, since I'm given the choice, I'd choose the first image because of the facial expression, which seems more in keeping with the surroundings. Also it is a wider view.

Technically you are way beyond me and probably totally bored with stuff I'd shoot.

I can try to explain but probably not very well....

I prefer everything in the second one except the expression , if you had the first expression on the second one I think it would be better

Why... to me the 'sunburst' kinda highlights her elbow, and I think the rightside skull looks more plastic like in the top image

Steve:

Way beyond you my butt. I went to your portfolio to see how bored I would become and found it hard to leave. Don't sell yourself short my friend. You're gooood.

It's okay that you don't like either one. Not everything is for everyone.

Stan:

You're right about the skull. I think I'm going to have to take some steel wool to it and dull it up a little.

I tend to agree with you about the expression and pose. If only I were a photoshop guru I would have a winner.

at first, i didn't notice that the sword is a sword. i dunno what i thought it was. i guess it just didn't register as much of anything but a wooden prop.

i don't get her outfit. it looks like a black, one-piece bathing suit with some "made in singapore" american indian stuff pinned on.

the sheepskin seems out of place. she sinks too low into it.

the skull on the left looks fairly real. the one on the right looks like a plastic halloween ornament.

the model is very pretty but her hair, makeup, and general "look" just don't say "danger!" to me in any way.

the lighting is straightfoward but fairly flat across. the BG colors also seem out of place for the theme.

I don't really like either, I think the color is too loud for the subject matter. Have you tried black, or dark grey? Or, grey to black as apposed to light to dark red/orange?

Frankly, neither, but probably because I'm not into the whole "warrior princess" thing. Like the skulls, although the incisors on the one look a bit much. The leftmost skull - is it a purchased prop? If so, can you tell me where? Mottled nicely. Realistic.
