I would be inclined to go with the sepia on this shot. It lends itself to the era that is depicted in this retro pinup style. By the way, I can easily see this one on the nose of some bomber during WWII. Well done!

If you are simulating a period photo, the sepia rocks. However, if you were going for the look of a period calendar, matchbook cover or other printed media, the color one would be the one to go for. By the way, the colors are perfect, IMHO. Oh, and the photos are very nice indeed, good work!

Gotta go with color on this one, Z, although both look great! Nicely done!

Zairia:

I would go with the sepia or straight b/w. The shoes are less distracting in the sepia.

Either way, the image is top notch.

I prefer the color version. The sepia version seems a bit flat..

Excellent pinup shot!

Outstanding pinup shot. I really like the color more than the sepia. I might also try taking the color shot and doing a bit of desaturation work to more closely mimick the period. Either way, excellent work.

Being alive in that era I don't ever remember seeing an example of "nose art" on an airplane done in sepia. . . or B&W either for that matter. No they wanted Tojo and Hitler to see them coming in technicolor.
