Maui - Rainy Day

Though the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, we did come back with some nice photos. This one's from a late afternoon shoot with Michelle while it was raining. When we set it up I thought it'd work out nice in black and white. Enjoy!

Hey Alan! Yes, I remeber that rainy day vividly. We started little late that morning and headed out to the Hana Bay little know red sand beach. It was also Michelle's rough morning, but she came out like a good trooper. We climbed over couple rough ridges helping each other out, but when Michelle saw the beach she was elated. Rain drops were falling on us periodically, but we had a natural canopy overhang protecting our equipment from being soaked. We actually came out from there with some nice images. Seems that no one else went to the same beach, although we were telling other people about it.

Nice pic of Laura! Yep, I remember hearing about that beach. Seems like we split up off and on trying different locations. The day we planned on going to a different beach (don't remember the name, but it wasn't a red or black sand beach) the tide was in, so we ended up at the Seven Sacred Pools. Nice waterfall shots, but watch for tourists in the afternoon.
