Well first of all this is the first photo I post here. I would like to know if it's possible to achieve the beautiful gold shiny Glamour skin in post treatment. I shoot in RAW and I work with PS CS2. Feel free to show me your results on my photo.

Thanks

Martin

Salut Martin, et bienvenu!

That's a nice photo and to me it already looks like it has soft skin. Can you maybe point us to an example of the style you're after?

Salut Eldor, long time no talks!

I know the skin is already soft I did a job on it. What I mean is more on the color of the skin. Lots of Glamour photos have a skin more gold, shiny, more warm.

I did a few other things other than color, but I hope it's a start for you. Excellent image BTW.

Here's a quick attempt. What I did was hit auto levels(I suggest manually doing a levels or curves adjustment though, I just did the auto levels to shorten the time) and then brought up 'color balance' and input the following values:
midtones - red +10, yellow -17
highlights - red +7, yellow -8
shadows - red +6, yellow -6

Also seeing that you have a raw file to work with, consider playing around with the color temperature in your raw software.

Hope this helps. If you need any further help, let me know.

I didn't really want to go anymore golden with the skin then this. But I did a trick that I have found on some tutorials and I believe it was listed by someone else recently in one of the posts about using select-color range-highlight-inverted, then adjusting the feathering and playing with the levels histogram...spose I could have adjusted the colors or hues etc, but I thought this brought out some nice clarity...that cloudy haze is gone...great image, great shot...way to go...are those 200 thread count sheets...

The simple way someone like ME would try to do it is to
1 - give it a slight 'diffuse glow'
2 - under adjustments / 'photo filter' - use the warming filter maybe 80%
quick and just a couple of clicks
maybe not as good as the rest , but it's another option
