I know this seems stupid, but what time is this based on ? Its reading 02:11 am now and its 9:42 pm Daylight savings time. I can never seem to figure out what real time people are posting. Is the clock just wrong?

GMT=Grenwich Mean Time, the time it is in Grenwich England on the Prime Meridian, where all time is based on..
You can set the time for your time zone in My Home, Edit Options.
Click the drop down tab near the bottom and pick your zone.

Hate to be picky Ron, but it's Greenwich (Pronounced Grennitch). Don't you just love the Queen's English!

If you look at the time closely it says GMT time -4. So if the GMT time is 2am and you live in the eastern time zone the clock will read 10pm.

That whole GMT thing was driving me crazy. Thanks to you I was able to find the way to have our local time displayed. This correct time thing reminds me of a trip I made many years ago from Washington, DC to Davenport, Iowa. As the plane was decending to land at the airport the pilot came on to inform us about the local weather and time. "It's sunny in the Quad Cities, with a temperature of 73 degrees. We are now in the central time zone, so please set your watch back one hour......and one hundred years."

Ah well, it was a nice place to raise children.

Your Welcome Fish.....Ha,Ha,..I know,..the time zone thing can be very confusing.

Ah,..the Quad Cities,..I was born and raised across the Mighty Mississippi from Davenport,Ia, in Rock Island, Illinois,...left when I was 17,..took a Greyhound to Oakland,Ca. ,been here ever since,..what a trip! I'd like to move to Clearwater one of these days, but have a cpl obligations here.

Wish I was 17 again in RI,..I'd like to start over, (I think,..uh,..maybe not?)

So you used to live in Davenport? I worked at The Italian Village on Locust, making pizza's a hundred yrs ago,..err, 1957 or 58.
