Does anybody know where I can get my hands on one of the focusing screens for the Contax 645 that has gridlines on it? I'm finding it hard to line up my horizon line sometimes without grids.

It's getting harder and harder to find anything for this camera anymore.

Sam

Sam;
Last weekend I attended photorama show in a suburb of Chicago. The sellers of old equipment go to different cities. I am confident someone will have what you are looking for or will know where to get it. Here is the link to their web site so check for the dates they could be nearest you: http://www.photorama.com/ There is well know photog in Chicago, Stan Malinowski, who used use Contax gear exclusively. I have not seen Stan in few years so if he still shoots I'm going to catch hell from him. You can google him and then email him. Try to get his attention quickly, he gets lot of email traffic. Hope that sort of point you in a right direction. Regards.

You may want to try KEH if you haven't tried them already. They usually have a pretty good stock of used equipment. Very dependable and usually grade the equipment quite conservative.

Regards

Sam, one of these days you're going to have to get rid of that Kodak Instamatic you're using. Go get you a polaroid.

John O.: Hey John, thanks a bunch. I'll get in touch with Stan and see if he has what I'm looking for (and if he's willing to part with it if he does ). Thanks!

John W.: Hey John, I appreciate it, but yeah, I tried KEH and they didn't have it there. But I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an RB67 from them, though.

Mike: I really should upgrade, shouldn't I? I keep telling myself it would be a good invsetment, but I'm just a cheap bastard.
