WHAT!?!?!

You DIDN'T PS her skin into plasticity!!!!!! She looks like a REAL human!!!! OMIGOD, David, just because you can capture the beauty in a beautiful woman, don't go starting to think you can post w/o "perfecting" natural beauty.

Seriously - wonderful mode. I personally think the shadow on the near side is a bit too dark, emphasizing the nose too much, but I really love the senerity expressed.

Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering about the shadow myself.I wonder, should I have put a reflector under her? I wanted the back of her head to fall off into darker light, so I didn't want to light her right side.

Anyway, thanks for the comments!

Have you worked with her before?

She's a fun young lady! Very down to earth!

that's cuz it's "almost" a rembrandt patch. if it had been a full rembrandt patch, i.e., the three points of shadow connected to form a triangle of light under the eye, it would not seem to accentuate the nose the way it does.

(yeah, that's a 'studio portrait 102' lesson for whoever cares to note it.)
