I've gotta go with the color. Her red hair and blue eyes are just too beautiful to throw away in b&w

The color image seems to have much more impact to me. Another nice capture.

Best regards,

While I love her eyes and find the color of her hair lovely, I don't "feel" the pink of her lipstick works well with the hair and eyes. OTOH, I don't think it converted well into b/w - the formerly pink lips are tad too pale, almost lost against her skin. So...

I'd consider PSing the lips into another shade, then probably go with the color to keep those wonderful eyes.

But then again, what do I know?

I agree with Brian, (I had to back track to find his name in his profile),..the red hair and blue eyes add more to the image in my opinion.
I've never been much of a fan of B&W, but it's growing on me.

PS This new site is taking some getting used to, but once all the bugs are out and we learn where all the bells and whistles are, it's gonna be great.

In this case it is color all the way. I think your B&W work is outstanding, however in this case her eyes are much more attractive in the color version.

Excellent work as always.

And this, my friends, is why I shoot headshots.

Love em both. One for the west coast and one for NYC.

I usually am partial to B&W; however in this case I would have to agree with Brian and RonC, that her red hair and blue eyes are beautiful to and should be seen in their natural color.
Have you thought about using PS to convert the color to B&W with only the eyes in color? I'll bet that would be a stricking picture.
