i have one nit with this image in which, otherwise, i think you did a great job on-- the positioning of the hat.

maybe you'll think i'm being way too anal about it, and maybe i am, but i'm thinking the image would have much more impact if the the hat was lower on her head, i.e., the brim of the hat reaching the top of the shades, kind of cocked, with (maybe) just a bit of the right eye peaking out above the shades. as it is, the hat high on her head sort of takes some of the mystery out of the shot.

p.s. is that really the right kind of hat? is it a 50s marlon brando "Wild Ones" hat? or is it a leather Greek fisherman's hat? I'm not sure.

other than my possibly way-to-anal observation i like everything else about this image.

Thanks for the feedback jimmy! I hear what you are saying about the placement of the hat.

Well, I was having a hard time finding the hat. So, I decided to google "biker hat". Low and behold! There is a web site dedicated to biker hats and there it was right on the main page! It looked just like what I remember Marlon Brando wore in the movie.
I think if it were a Greek fishermans hat, it would probably have some kind of rope across the brim or be embroidered with a ships wheel or both!
Rick.

IMO....The glasses don't fit....They don't look like they belong on her face...too "proppish".....Would have been perfect with a smaller pair...Like some late model Oakleys (no...I don't work for Oakley.) The glasses have to fit the face....would have also been cool to have a pair that are slightly mirrored to complement the reflection from the metallic gas tank. Everything else looks great!!

Thanks for the feedback! I was going for a late 50's early 60's look and I think late model sunglasses like Oakley or the like would have taken away from that. Thanks again for the comments!

Rick.
