I am really going to defend this one Jimmy.
It was cropped in photoshop, curved in photoshop, over all slightly sharpened in photoshop, and one very small skin tag about the size of a dust speck was removed. IF that's photoshopping then so be it. I even purposely went out of the way NOT to retouch this image or use any filters, etc.
I use a technique called 1/4 to 1/2 in bnw mode to over expose in overcast natural light, shooting an aperture wide open as much as possible with my S3 and then bringing back a level adjustment. That gets reviewed as photoshopping and frankly that is starting to piss me off.
I laugh when I am told to shoot it raw and then photoshop so go figure!
If one does not like the look fine with me, it's subjective.
I have done this technique for about 3 years now with an S1 then S2 and now S3.
P.S. I don't want to take anything away in context with what you said but I do want to put this image in context.

not to take anything away from--or in any way to dis--JT, but what "she wasn't" was photoshopped like that after you shot her. (note: hone your PS skills and you too will be posting similar images.)
