I was viewing the scenery here today in Maine while my youngest son was driving (learner's permit) and seeing things I normally don't get to see whilst driving. We happened to come upon a building near my house that had some super old and dilapidated equipment on the loading dock. The building hasn't been used in eons. I had an immediate vision of shooting a model there with some bib overalls (and nothing else) and making her skin look like it's sweating and greasy from working on that old piece of garbage machinery on the loading dock. How do some of you simulate sweat and grease and apply it so that it actually looks convincing and not contrived??
Is is really as simple as just spritzing their skin with glycerin or something similar? Seems to be the "grease" part would be a bit tricky. Penny for your thoughts, guvna!
