Which do you prefer?

I'm going to have to go with color on this one. Retains more detail and, to my eyes, has a more natural feel to it. The b/w comes off a touch contrasty (too bright in the upper chest, too dark in the arms/eyes), or at least the conversion creates that illusion.

Fantastic image, though; probably one of the best I've seen of Mack.

OK, I give, this is the third time I've looked at these. Normally I would say the B&W, but each has good and bad points. It's those points that seem to me give each a different feel. At first glance I actually thought they were different photos. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I like your b&w better, only because I think it evens her skin tones better. The model looks familiar to me.

I agree mp, there is a business in her hair and a business in the dress pattern. You can see them better because of the range of colors.

Thanks cuz, I am convinced this morning that I like the color better but as Shannon said it may need to pop more. It comes across as dark and moody to me today. That can work as her expression is moody not bright.
