this keeps from going crazy shooting easter pics with bunnies......

I like it.

Without giving away the whole thing, would you care to share how you did this? Which filters, masks, layer tools, bell, whistles, and monkey hammers did you use to get to the final version?

I'd also be interested in seeing the original photo.

Excellent! The wording mutes a little (I know that's intentional but maybe a bit too muted). But that may be due to my color blindness, too. Nice work!

I send you the basic recipe thru pm. but basicaly this is how it goes

make copy layer and sepia tone it, then with eraser and low opacity clear some of sepia, then difference clouds (lower opacity), then clouds same as before. then with eraser go over lightly to taste. then find a texture that you like and make another level add text and border.
its a bit more involved but thats the meat!

Sounds good. On effects used I'm thinking I see Auto/FX edges in there and the Crack effect from hmmm ... Xenofex? Hard to keep track of them all these days. But regardless of the tools that got you there, the final product is quite compeling!

Love and use them often ... you can't beat a nice plug-in to get you part way there. After that it's tweak-city and the real fun begins!
