Spent Sunday shooting Aurora. She's pretty easy on the eyes, no? And she has really great skin! No skin processing at all on her face or on most of her body for that matter. Makeup by Terese. Last image is a shot of the lighting for those who like seeing that stuff. I'm shooting Aurora again on Monday for a different thing so I'll have more pics of her after that. This is--as i often shoot--straightforward glam stuff on a seamless (per client) for use on DVD in print ad graphic artwork.

Looking good Jimmy, nice images. Thanks for sharing the lighting set up. Its nice to see how images are lit and try to study how the light or shadows are working. Now if only I could keep that info in my head when I'm shooting.

You just gotta love Aurora Snow! Hey Jimmy, is she still doing Private Calls on BunnyTV (Playboy)?

Man, she's hot! Nice job on the images too, jimmy!

Hey Jimmy, I was going over these shots more closely (I like to check out the effect of lighting setups and what each element does and I noticed that you need to clean your sensor.

Look at image #1, just under her left arm (your and my right) and to the right of her blonde locks. You can see two specks of sensor dust. Might want to clone those out.

P.S. Thanks for the last image. It really helps to see what others are doing in a studio larger (MUCH larger) than the space where I usually work.

"spent Sunday shooting"
Last Sunday or are you time traveling to later today????

Two questions if you don't mind

1= did you change backrounds from green to grey/brown & remove the gel
OR did you just do it in the computer

2 the lighting setup looks like you flagged everything to keep it from hitting the background, SO where is the light hitting the background coming from
the big relected light source and/or the mola

Wow ... Those are great - as always- !

And thank you very much for the setup Jimmy !
I just decided to buy 2 stripboxes instead of one.

Now for the small softbox overhead, what exactly is it supposed to do?
Don't the stripboxes give enough hairlight?
Are the other lights all setup 1/3 f-stop hotter than your main again ?

TIA
Peter

Hi Jimmy,..These are nice shots of a pretty model. Is there a special reason for useing green seamless and a green gel,..does it have to do with your client cutting her out of the bg?

hehehhe... all day on Saturday (03-04-06) I kept thinking it was Sunday and my confusion seems to have extended to my post.

i changed BGs. in fact, I shot on the grey BG first. the reason it looks brownish is cuz of amber gels i have working on a few of the lights.

[/ QUOTE ]

mostly from the stripbox shown camera-left which is not flagged. the reflected light (from the big panel) and the mola are also contributing light to the BG.
