Not bad Ron....but you've now enter the zone of of learning a hard thing to do...properly selecting the hair area...there are a thousand ways to do it.
the easiest way in photoshop without an external plug in like KnockOut2
would be to use the Extract tool to extract a wig so to speak..

I use the Pen tool around the body and shoes,etc..then use the extract tool on a copy layer to extract a wig from the hair...
then I erase or mask out the background from the layer below to remove unwanted color.

hard to explain in type.

Yeah Don,

I have a lot to learn yet working with Photoshop luckily for me I dont have to do more that some bluring and healing brush for most of the stuff I do.

baby steps in learnig is fine by me... It will take time to teach this old dog new tricks..
