TIME is not on our side. With the admins playing around in the background with GG, the pages seem to load a little slower and I just don't have the time to respond to all that I see. I don't even look at all the posts anymore. Time. It is not my friend.

I too have felt that I'm offering advice or even encouragement on fewer images lately. But it's no lack of interest, it's a lack of time for me right now. And I suppose others as well.

The board is very dynamic, and rather cyclic. Just before and during the holidays, it felt like only a few people were posting; now we have a lot of posting, but fewer comments. I suspect some of it is that, as the population increases, people feel less inclined to repeat advice - "People are better without telephone poles growing out of their heads" or "Don't have limbs reappearing from out-of-frame".

I am busy. I just increased my wedding rates by almost 25%. While I do recognize that I have been helped quite a bit on this board and that I owe something back, I have to eat.

I try to visit this board every other day. But commenting takes more time. I have to pick and choose who I comment to. I try to leave one good constructive critique a week. I don't want to waste my time, so I try to leave it for someone who needs it and will appreciate it.

I don't comment much on your images, because I don't see many that need it. A little 'atta boy' is trite to me. You know where your skill level is. You don't need me reinforcing it.

Likewise, when I post images, I am sharing for everyone. If you feel like you can say something constructive, I'd love to hear it. But I don't expect a critique unless I ask for it. I post images here because when I was learning it was nice to have a lot of stuff to look at and learn what I like and what works.

Since the modeling contest was introduced, G's traffic went through the roof. You have to be a member here to lurk around the forums. If you're a guy wanting to see some hot nekkid chicks for free and found this site, would you come back?

You know how much I respect you and your work. It sucks that the last time you tried to help someone all they were really looking for was attention. I would conceder myself fortunate to have you critique my stuff anytime. Respectfully, instead of letting one lugnut ruin it for everyone. Maybe you could keep your critiques to the people that value what you have to say.

Throw them at will!!!!! Here is my point,,,how many took the time to respond to this "Rant" ...but cant take the time to respond to an image. Good,Bad or Ugly. the responses are what keeps the forum going, and if it take controversy to create responses, you all will have no one to blame but yourselves when the forum turns into nothing but politics and pissing matches!!!!
Just my take...so the next person that pisses at me because I post too much, well I paid for it..I'll use it and I will respond to images, unless I just dont know how to respond!!!

Nope I disagree...there are images I dont comment on, because Im not sure how I would go about fixing them....so I watch that thread and wait for a response.
and it gets none...ooops there went another learning experience down the crapper..NEXT Thread please!!!
