your question is the universal why? these shots would be editorial style shots for a magazine opposed to more of a product shot of the watch.

it is a current fad for women to wear rolex sport watches. started with some starlets like tara reid and ellend degeneres wearing rolex daytonas. the stainless steel rolex daytona being the holy grail of rolex watches. there is approximately a 7 year wait list for the watch if you can even get on a wait list.

so a women's fashion magazine would contact me and say we are doing an editorial on rolex watches. so i would shoot more of an editorial style with the watch as an accessory. the magazine's editorial content would determine most of the styling but the watch would be a part of it. some magazines might include an additional product type shot to go with their editorial but it would be up to the magazine. even if they didn't specify i would include some.

i think i rambled on a bit.

Yeah I just read that on my phone!!

27 inches breaking a new record for NYC and that LGA was closed and was supposed to open today at 6 am but who knows... yeah - that wouldn't have been that great considering I have to work at 10:30 today... but I wouldn't have complained.. I love that city!!
