I believe it's a very well done presentation. As someone else had mentioned, I did find a couple pages where the fold line was a distraction.
I have wireless on my computer here and found the speed no problem, with farly good clarity.
Nice job.

Hi Mike,

Just an observation here, but the whole presentation seems to be lacking a "WOW" image......something that will make a bride stop in her tracks and say "That's my photographer!!!" All of the images are nice, but seem to be usual wedding fare and all seem to be rather bland to me from a color standpoint. If you threw in an image or two that really popped, I think it would improve your presentation immensely!

Just one guys view......

Thanks. I wasn't really planning on using it for proofing as much as a promo piece. I am actually going to be handing out business card size CD's with this on them as part of a bigger presentation. I may leave it on my website as well. At 1.8 mb per download, I don't know if I will have one that large with music.

I wasn't really concerned that it would take away from the gallery itself. It's interesting that you would say that.

Thanks man. Yep, I did the whole layout in PS. All of my art montage albums are done in PS vs. using those predesigned layouts that most labs/album makers use. I just design the pages as 20x10. When I'm done with the entire album, I run a batch to make the individual pages and send them off to the lab as 10x10. When I get the prints, I just assemble them into the album.

They sell like hotcakes, cost me less than my comparibly size matted album, and take me about as long to assemble. I just increased the price of them by 25% and still nobody's blinking. I might even increase the price before the holiday season for two increases this year. I'll have to see how they sell at their new price level first. Although I'll have to say that it's kinda nice when what used to be my premier album (the matted book, which is still very nice BTW) is my lowest priced album.

It's actually a promo piece and not the slideshow that clients are paying me for. I think I can adjust the compression in the software.

I've got to weigh in on the line thing... I hated that part.
But otherwise I like the premise.
