New model Fawn, from Portland - this was her second shoot. Not sure if she really wants to be a model yet, but we had fun, and she sure is pretty.

Special thanks to Shadow Scott for art direction - Fawn styled herself and did her own makeup on the fly.

Nice shots. The makeup doesnt work as well in the first image as it does in the rest. I especially like #3 though. Good work!

wow! Looks like she's doing a damn great job! Pretty gal. I love #1 and #3. #1 could use a little bit of lighting.

great photos!

I certainly hope you can convince her to pose some more. She is indeed very pretty and you did a great job on the pictures.

to see you posting so much good work, keep it up. I have a question about this series, the last shot, the one where she is lying down... how did you light this? What were you using, modifiers etc.?

Thanks in advance.

Robert

Hi Robert,

My goodness, this model is stunning! Those eyes are to die for and those curves on her should have danger signs posted. She is incredibly sexy and I love the simplicity of the photo as well. Great stuff!!

Good day sir!

Mike

Thanks Chris, #3 is my favorite of those as well, but then I'm lazy and love the blown out white look LOL

Thank you Orchid - yes, she didn't want to spring for an MUA, so we ran with what we had and tried to make appropriate detail changes rather than full-on concept MU for each setup.

Cheers!

Thank you Vic - she's pretty excited about the images that I've sent along to her so far, I get the impression from her feedback that her previous shoot was with something of a GWC; makes a huge difference when there is a good team in place behind the camera. I imagine she'll be wanting to shoot again fairly soon

Hi Robert - thank you!

The last setup in that string was your basic three-legged dog affair...Light 1 was a 48" octo just off of my right elbow, three feet off the ground and angled down slightly (it was the same height, but angled closer to straight on for her upright images). Light 2 was an upright 1.5x4' softbox one foot off the ground and angled slightly down, at the side toward her feet. The rear kicker was a white umbrella on a boom, about five feet off the ground, behind her and about even with her shoulders.

I alternated between lights 1 and 2 as main lights, I saw Jimmy D's sidelighting stuff and wanted to mess with that a bit.

Cheers!
