My house caught fire today, lost most of everything, what didn't burn got heavy smoke damage. My new Nikon D200 was in my truck, as well as this laptop. So thats all ok!
Lucky, Princess, Harvey, Missey, Misty Blue (cat in my portfolio) and Two unnamed kittens all died from smoke. Tomasina and Felix got smoke pretty bad but they will make it I hope. Never ever say how much worse can things get because they can get worse!

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear this. I feel terrible about your pets. I know the next few months will be difficult for you to say the least but I hope you can keep yourself somewhat positive through all of it.

Truely sorry to hear about your misfortune. I know the loss of your pets is painful but, at least you are OK. Best of luck to you.

Few things in a person's lifetime can be worse than having your home burn. I am truly sorry you have lost so much and I wish you the very best in reassembling and recovering.

You are so right, one can never know how much worse... or better life will become. Every moment is a gift not to be wasted.

I hope you have exhausted your allottment of bad luck in this lifetime and have only a better future ahead of you.

After a few minor crises in our household and family, I was just reminding my wife how lucky we were, and how things could be MUCH worse than they have been. Your story will serve as a reminder to both of us just how unimportant the little things really are.

Terribly sorry to hear about your losses... Deepest sympathies and best wishes for a full recovery and good fortunes ahead.

So very sorry to hear of your missfortune. Posessions can be replaced, difficult to reconcile the loss of companion animals.

I am so sorry to hear about your companions. I realize what they meant to you and the loss. As one who has saved many a four legged friend, I feel your loss.
Your right as to things can be worse. Those that are still with you will be even closer though.

God Bless and Good Luck

My family is the cats. Felixxx is a tough cat he is checking out every square inch of this Hotel room. The two females I fear may not make it. Time will tell.
