But all of the people I know who have tattoos see permanance as an asset.

You are only sealed into an alternative place by close-minded people.

Tattoos are for the wearer, not as art for others to admire, although it often is.

There is room in the world for everyone, and everyone's different taste.

Now if you want to talk about 'Branding' and 'Scarification' , well that's too much pain for me.

Contrary to others, I like ink for the most part (except I *hate* meaningless and "trendy" tramp stamps), and if I know a model has some ink, I'll do my best to work it in rather than work around it.

OK, so you don't like tattoos and don't want any...that's fine. But what I don't get is what and/or who made you the authority on what is and what isn't glamourous or art? I take great pride in the fact that I designed my tattoos as pieces of art and I do wear them proudly. Quote: "The fact that so much attention is being placed on this phenom, I believe only leads the impressionalable, and the social naive to think this will enhance their acceptability." I didn't walk in and see something on the wall and say, oh man that will make me so cool or having a tattoo will make people like me. All of mine are expressions of my art and my life. But it is good to know that you've got it all figured out and are willing to do the thinking for all of us poor lost souls that would not have a chance in this world without your guidance and opinions.
