The only light on the backdrop is what falls from the main. There is a strip light image left that is pointing 45 degrees into her right side but none of that light really hits the backdrop. To get what I want from this shade of green I've found that moving the light a little farther back so it starts to fall off just past the model works best. Of course if I had a studio that was 40 feet long and I could put the model 10 feet from the background I could also manage the effect.

Ok! 45 degrees so she had to be more than a couple feet away from the back drop. You raised the ambient light behind her? But not actually on the backdrop.

She is about 4 feet from the backdrop. Not sure what you mean by ambient. Normally that is light in the room aside from the strobes and I do not have any light except the modeling lights on the strobes which of course disappear when the strobe fires.
