Cool shot. I have 4AB's and I to own one of their beauty dishes. To be honest, Im not sold on it. Because of its white interior (im guessing) it shoots very much on the cool side..which personally I dont like. I also feel its not good as a main light because it is small in relation to the models and tends to put shadows where I dont personally want them. I usually place my light above head height aiming down and about 4-6 feet from the model. My biggest peave is that if the model has a strand or stands of hair in front of her face (sometimes I like that) it leaves shadows. That I dont like. Selective shadows are good but I have not chosen otherwise good shots because that bugs me.
Hope that helps...how do you place yours? Others that own them are welcome to speak up....maybe its just my light position....not sure.
ps..what image hosting are you using....imageshack seems to be not allowing many of us to post images.
