It's 2006, A new year, You know what that means... new calendars.
I look at several, but especially the Pirelli calendar and the Sports Illustrated calendars.
The Pirelli calendar is pretty hard to get unless you are willing to drop some big bucks on eBay. But you can see all the images just by joining the Pirelli calendar site. Yeah, I know, having to register on a site sucks... but they don't ask for much info, and how much tyre (it's spelled right for Italy) info can they send you? I don't believe I've ever heard from them and I've been registered for several years.
Anyway, check "Pirelli calendar 2006" on Google for the link and sign up. It's worth having access to all the recent Pirelli calendar images. Besides, some years have cool Quicktime or WIN media backstage movies.
All the mall calendar kiosks have closed up by now. I got the SI big calendar, the desk (appointment book), and desk (tear off page) calendar for 50% off. I was too lazy to go back when they drop the prices even lower a few days before shutting down the kiosks.
You can also go to the CNNSI swimsuit site and checkout all the SI swimsuit images. Neat stuff.
Anyway, with the Superbowl a couple of weeks away, the SI swimsuit issue will be following by a couple of weeks. One bright moment in a dreary February.
Didja know the Rolling Stones will be the halftime show at Superbowl XL. Watch out Detroit... no telling what kind of "wardrobe malfunction" may occur. But will anybody really care if Mick's pants drop?
