ease up bro I wasn't the one that wanted to make a workshop analogy, I was responding to it. Come on relax. I'm chilled. Heck you of all people should enjoy a little feedback of a differing opinion that did not say nasty things about you personally. Yikes, it's warm in here. I said I don't get inspiration from pissing contests. I realize some love that and thrive for it, wonderful. Would it have been better for me to say nothing? I think the site should focus on photography and art. I am not alone in that but I am also apparently not in any majority. I don't own the site and I can take it or leave as you have often pointed out. I'll go back to keeping my opinions to myself, no harm done here. Sleep well.

Don't misread me. You asked a specific question and I answered it. Yes I understand that conversing over the internet is not like being in a foxhole looking into the eyes of a friend with bullets whizzing by, or in a bar talking with your buds over a brew or whatever. I say what I say wherever and whenever. It can get me in trouble or misunderstood wherever and whenever and it has. Mean what you say and say what you mean, it's all I know.

By the way I am not ticked at any person, I am disappointed in a series of events, that is all.

None of us may ever be able to eliminate the inane. So should we just act like it does not exist? What I have learned is that for every person who took your or my attempt to educate to heart and told you so, 20 others also gleaned from it. Of those you will probably never know who put it to use. My question is, does it matter. Our world is too focused on proving something was quantifiable so that we can assure it is worth our future efforts or resources. My belief is that if it felt like it was what you were supposed to do it was right, I don't care if anyone can prove it to me. It was what I was supposed to do. I am at times an unworldly old man, and I like it that way.
