I am into stories that have lingered in my head for sometime. Many depend on specific atmospheric conditions, and having the right model, right time yadadada. I began to think about dying and never attempting some images, so I decided to play with some and do studio/post production creations. I do not want to do digital backgrounds etc as I, well let's just say it ain't my art. So, I played today with an image from last night. For those that liked my Late 60's post, there will be an early 70's post with Laura soon as I can.

I had some shoots last year made me thing about dying while I was shooting 'em

Cool stuff dude. Looks like a little bit of rough edge around her mouth, camera right.

LOVE the look in her eyes though.

Thanks man. I went back to the original and there is an uneven shadow that did get over-emphasized when I duplexed the image.

Mike, I really dig this image.

High points are the way the colors all come together - skin tone, hair, eyes and background, contrasting with the hoodie; I especially like the NOT perfectly coiffed and straightened bangs and the little border glow around her.

The only low point for me is the really long "cat eye" swoop of makeup...To me, it's incongrous to the mood (or maybe I'm assigning to much stereotyed stigma to the "cat eye" MU LOL).

Cheers!

Thanks Jon. When I had her do the eyes the original concept (and I have some I have not done PP on yet) was dark background, the hood and very minimal light from low up into the face. Once I was done I did not want to quit because I had this other lingering hood concept in my head, so rather than change make-up I went ahead. I understand your point fully.

Take care my friend.
