From November at Myrtle Beach. Two versions.

Original photo cropped vertical.

Second one with a horizontal crop.

Crop is better IMHO for a coupel of reasons. Part of the charm of the image is the fountain. In the second much of this is lost. A second reason is in the first the busy back ground appears less noticable.
The eye is drawn first to the girl then the fountain then the background then hopefully back to the girl. In the first the busy street scene in the background is miniscule and virtually indestinguishble. In the second that scene becomes more "legible" and instead of going back to the subject you start to wonder what's going on. e.g. is that Barney in the door?

Some thought went into what you are seeing on the images with your personal tastes on things and it makes me go back to look again. There was a cartoon type of character in the background doorway but I don't know if he was Barney.
I tried the two different crops because in one I wanted to have the model stand out a little more and on the other I also liked the fountain to be seen with the entire picture.
Thanks.

Thanks Frank. Sheena was nice and also silly at times. She had us cracking up several times during our shoot together. Here is one of those crazy moments.
