Some folks pull it off better than others. It just is the way it is. But pics # 2 and 3 are my favorite of this bunch. I also like the vintage feel of # 4 and the smile and body shape of number 1.

So basically I have been totally useless in this answer, except to tell you how great you look.

In my stupid ****head view this image just doesn't work.

To everyone else here on GG is a magnificent work of art.

I look at it and say why is a suburban housewife sitting on top of a table/stand/whatever with chains locked onto a collar while she is wearing some lingerie and looking skyward with an interesting expression. Thats what the image says to me. But I'm the class ****head. There are obviously many folks on here who think this is the coolest thing you've ever shot.

You say you don't get it. Neither do I. Why is she chained? What part of her daily routine would make her be chained.

Your wife is pretty, I have seen many very nice images of her, but this one doesn't say anything to be. As one of my all time favorite models mentioned in this thread, "its all in the eye of the beholder." This dummy doesn't get it.

4 different looks, 4 different faceial expressions, they all work for me.
I tell my models to try to look sensual not sexual. I'm very consciense of hand placement on the body too. I don't want the wrong message sent with my photography.
I don't have a studio, so nude or semi nude is rare for me.
Can't have a naked lady walking around downtown Charleston.......The Holy city

okay this is my 2 cents. I agree with Glenn that not everone can pull off certain looks. Because of either facial fetures or body type.(my wife says that I have to smile in my pictures because everyone thinks I'm pissed off when I dont)That being said the reason the photo doesnt really work for me is 1) its in color! b/w would make a more dramatic statement. 2) the scene suggest she is being held captive and submissive, but because there is nothing else in the scene that tells the viewer why she would have that expression. it leaves alot of questions. if you changed her gaze to the camera it would at least say something to the viewer, what it says I'll let you fill in.

just my 2 cents, for whatever thats worth.
