Hair and Make Up by Maggie Sweeney

This was a pretty simple set up; one Alien Bee 800 straight over her head bounced into a silver 42" umbrella at 12 feet high, and an Alien Bee 800 through a 30"x60" softbox about 10 feet in front of her. I was about 3 feet behind the softbox.

That's my studio. It does have a ramp, so I could probably get a motorcycle in there, but I don't think a car would make it through my double door entry!!! Your welcome to come use it anytime.

Holy snipers, Batman! What focal length ya shooting there, Quigley?

BTW, very nice shot, and thanks for the setup pic.

Cheers!

Those ceilings do suck!!!

Yes it's great that they are 35' high...but the water that leaks in during a rainstorm sort of ruins my love of the height. I can't seem to convince the management of the building that I can't afford to replace my ****t after every thunderstorm.

so far I've lost

<ul type="square">[*]a giant softbox (ruined because the leaks picked up rust and stained the diffusion material)[*]an Alien Bee 800[*]about 20 11x14 color prints[*]my patience with the management[/list]
Another photographer in the same center had just about everything he had in his studio ruined.

Thanks alot Paul for sharing the set-up. Speaking for myself who is trying to cram for the test and shoot my own material. When GG memebers share their formats and set-ups it becomes priceless and a motivation to log in, as much as try to accomplish a decent shot on my own.
Good work and have a good holiday.
