this was from a recent paid shoot I did recently with just a girl, she is not a model, but I think it came out really nice, although some may not like the warmth, what do you think? too much?

This is just my opinion mind you, but it looks to warm to me. Did you use a gel or is it all PS. I'm just a fan of the more natural skin tone look.
It comes down to personal taste in the end.

For a straight forward shot it is. If this was in a scene with a fireplace, etc, then I can see the warmth working.

The warmth doesn't make it bad so it is also going to be a personal taste.

I think it is up to your clients personal likes. Look at Rolando's site. A lot of warmth. He usually has his WB set at 6000.

It looks good to me. The rim light on her shoulder looks normal, and the French manicure still looks white, so I don't think it's too warm. If you had pushed the white nail polish to look pink, that would have been too far...but this just looks like a lady with bronze skin and beautiful hair.

Well done.

I like the honey tone in her hair too.

Two thumbs up from Dave and Chainsaw!

Thanks, The warmth was from a bastard Amber gel fired into a large Gold/Silver reflector. There was one other thing I did as detailed below....

Yep, that was the other thing I did, I always set my Custom White Balance to 6000k and gladly credit Rolando for that Tip..

Thanks JT, see, that's why I asked, I think I am falling into a rut of believing "the warmer the better" and sometimes I need to pinch myself to stop...
