I've heard the term a couple of times, and used it a couple of times myself. The other day I thought I'd see if it's registered as a domain. Sounds better than flamour.com. Alas, it looks like it was snatched up by our friend, mentor, and instructor, Rolando Gomez back in September. I'm not sure if I should congratulate him on being ahead of the curve or myself for only being 2.5 months behind it! Good score RG. Got any plans for glashion.com? Anyone have any suggestions?

It's a simple case of transmorgrification of the language if you ask me...

What does glashion infer that fashion or glamour doesn't already convey by themselves.

Oh well, there's a quote that's popular today...

“The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don’t just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary. - James D. Nicoll

I guess a little rifling of it's own pockets fits right in...

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that any language is owned by its practitioners. It's a communal resourse, owned, defined, maintained, and updated by the community. It can and will change to address the changing needs and experiences of the community. At least that what Ludwig Wittgenstein concluded.

you could try going with "flamour"

personally, i don't thing "glashion" or "flamour" are going to mean much to most people without an explanation. i think a hyphenate might work tho, how about "glam-fashion" or "fashion-glam"
