Hey Tim,

Just wanted to let you know that I love your work and I think Shawna is absolutely stunning, I would kill for an opportunity to work with her sometime . . . I love all the images I've seen you shoot of Shawna, but I think this has to be one of my all time favorites Would you mind sharing some of your secrets regarding your lighting set-ups ? Keep up the beautiful work My best to you and your wife for a very Happy New Year

Go with a few Alien Bees. I still have (and use) the first few I bought when i started in 2002. They work and work and work. Economical, excellent customer service, plent of power.

Are u trying to tell me that you started taking pics in 2002??

You are kidding right?

I think a lot of ppl would -love or only dream- of having pics in playboy.com within 3 yrs of picking up a camera!

Your work is amazing and i've admired what you've done since I am on here.

To answer your question, I was a corporate geek and a fire chief until January 2002.
Sold my company and decided to give photography a shot.
It's been an interesting few years. Actually doing less glamour and more commercial advertising and stock. But Playboy.com remains a consistent client.

More of what I'm doing mostly now:

Thanks for your kind words Jorge. My lighting set ups are usually available light, reflectors and post production work in Photoshop. When I do work in studio, to this point I've been making do with Home Depot work lights and such. Not real happy with that set up, thus the reason for this post.

Happy Holidays!
