I have been involved in photography for about 30 years. Professionally for only 3 years. I'm just north of Tampa, Fl. I often go to a local camera store (North Tampa Photography)and buy equipment, dyesub paper, etc. One day one of the sales staff asked me " How come you are always busy?" Before I could answer he said I have photographers that come in here who can't find work. You come in and are always working. I told him I shoot everything. Weddings, portraits, events, head shots, dog portraits, etc. I also did some work for the local chamber of commerce free of charge and made some contacts (networking). I am now getting to shoot some private glamour for clients (which is what I want to do), but I'm not stopping the other. Don't get tunnel vision.
So, I agree with JT's statements
