I shot some fun stuff this weekend using new lights. This was the first time everything really came together for me the way I wanted so my amazing new post processing technique is really no technique at all. I'm not saying I didn't do anything but I really didn't do much.

What I'm trying to develop are the skills and portfolio necessary to successfully market to upscale clients who are willing to pay for my glamour skills and my discretion. So comments that would help me pursue that path would be very much appreciated.

Hey Dave, that's not a bad shot, but the side of her face is washed out...which is distracting to me personally. I'm not sure if that's a result of the exposure or the post-processing, but the image would look better if you held some detail there.

I like the soft, low-saturation look.

Here is the same image but PP'd differently. Much less contrasty.

While I like the tone and mood (of both images, actually) I have have a BIG problem with her eyes.

The shadow on her right eye makes it look like she got the [censored] knocked out of her. Notice how the shadow line perfectly follows the lower eye socket transition area - that's got to change. Yes "they" (whoever "they" are) want to see shadows on the face to give depth and dimention, but we need to light the eyes.

Thanks Jon, you are right, I needed to kick some filler into those eyes.
