Here's another from Kristen's shoot a few weeks ago. This is the first I have had a chance to try working in 16-bit with Photoshop. I also had been unhappy with the out-of-camera images, so I bumped contrast in the Canon raw import utility. I'm pretty happy with the results.

That's a really nice photo you have there yourself, sir. You've bumped up your clarity. Doing anything different you could pass along?

Don -

I agree: the clarity and crispness of your two images in this thread exceeds most of your work. I understand about the sharpening issue, but out of curiosity, what camera and len(es) are you using these days?

Nice stuff, indeed.

Very nice images Greg, both this one and the one you posted in the reply to Don.

I agree with him about the position of the legs in the first image, but the lighting is excellent in both.

I just can't decide whether I prefer the softer approach used in the second image or the crisp effect of the first one.

What the hell, I like them both anyway!

Hi Greg,
I agree with everyone else, nice lighting, the technical skills with photography all seem to be here and I do like the image....but..(and I hope its ok if I offer my suggestions) the image would have worked a little more for me if the model had been turned just a tad more towards the camera, just to avoid that little crease on her side, I would have to agree that having her legs apart more would be more pleasing to the eye, and I like her hand position in the second image a little better too. It gives her hands a more delicate look. The comforter is pretty but it does distract me, maybe try it with a solid comforter or sheet next time?

I hope you don't mind my suggestions as I see you didn't ask for them. I just couldn't help myself.
