Hmmm, last time I checked, that was a 20-mile drive!
Are you refering to Rolando's workshop or something? If you are, you will only need your camera (must have a hotshoe for a pocket wizard), your lenses, and lots of CF cards. If you have a pocket wizard bring it -- otherwise, Rolando will have some that you can borrow/share with other photogs. It might also be helpful for you to bring your laptop, if you have one..... you can back-up your images to the HDD and also review them during breaks.
You should bring whatever lenses that you are comfortable using..... If you are talking about zooms, bring lenses that get you from about 28+/- to 200+/-. If you are bringing primes, bring a 35mm, 50 or 85, and a 135mm.
If you want to learn more about your light meter, bring it. But, there is no need to.... Rolando brings everything except a camera for you and lenses.
Also, don't forget to bring $50 per model. While it is not mandatory, if you want to be able to use the images, you will need a release.... $50 per model is cheap for 2 days worth of shooting.
